An accountant by trade, Betsy began her career in public accounting and auditing and continued her path in various financial roles.  Being a first generation, immigrant Latina, in 2011 Betsy co-founded a charter school, which provides a high quality education to English Language Learners. After spending over 25 years in finance and operations, Betsy understands what truly drives and motivates people.  She is a people strategist who partners with organizations to ensure financial sustainability and agile organizational growth.  Her work in nonprofit leadership earned her the 2020 Harold L. Conover Leadership Award from her alma mater, Rider University, for exhibiting exemplary leadership qualities in a non-profit organization.  Born in the Dominican Republic, and raised in New Jersey, Betsy majored in Business.  She holds an MBA in Finance and a B.S. in Accounting from Rider University.  Betsy currently lives in South Carolina with her husband, an abundance of wildlife, and her unruly garden.
