Andrew Sieving

Andrew currently lives in San Francisco where you can find him planning his next international adventure, chasing hot springs, or growing fresh vegetables and flowers in his garden. He is originally from New Orleans, and loves visiting the South as much as possible to sit on a porch and watch a lightning storm unfold. He has a deep passion for International Education and has lived in Seoul, South Korea and Santiago, Chile where he has taught English and worked for study abroad programs. Whether it's a thriving metropolis or sleepy beach town Andrew yearns to travel and experience cultures around the world.

A Fun Fact About Andrew:
Originally trained as a Botanist, Andrew also has a deep love for plants conservation. He  has worked in National Parks, Botanical Gardens, permaculture centers, and swamps throughout the world.  He even built a greenhouse out of old windows and you'll likely find him tinkering around in there on most sunny weekends.

Andrew’s Favorite Travel Memory:
One of the most memorable travel experiences Andrew had was while traveling in Colombia. He hiked to the Lost City (Cuidad Perdida) in the Sierra Nevada Mountains just outside of the city of Santa Marta. Over the course of four days, Indigenous tour guides led his group to the ancient city  can only be reached by foot and is older than Machu Picchu. The trail was filled with dense jungles, mystic cloudy mountain tops, and historic stone ruins that were only discovered by modern historians in the 1970s.
