Position Summary & Opportunity:

EdOdyssey is looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Program Operations Assistant to join our team. This new position will assist with the building and implementation process of custom faculty-led, First-Year-Experience and experiential learning programs for secondary student groups. From the program proposal creation stage all the way through to the return of the program, you’ll work closely with the EdOdyssey team behind the scenes to ensure programs meet EdOdyssey’s high standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the Program Operations team and other EdOdyssey staff to facilitate custom program development and implementation.

  • Preparing program proposal documents and presentations.

  • Assist with the planning and implementation of our pre-departure process including preparation of presentation slides, packing lists, and supporting materials.

  • Assist with location research and logistical considerations unique to each program.

  • Contact vendors to obtain quotes for lodging, transportation, meals and so forth.

  • Manage the day-to-day program monitoring including report generation and enrollment reporting.

  • Assisting with program budget generation, review, tracking, and reconciliation.

  • Supports administration of EdOdyssey’s online application system and digital program assets such as program webpages; ensure information and materials are kept up to date.

  • Monitor and manage participant registration and information, maintaining clean, accurate and complete data.

  • Contribute to and manage the production of program deliverables such as participant materials, handbooks, templates and guides for partners, and program reports.

  • Collect and prepare program evaluation data for evaluation.

  • Occasional travel (up to 1-2 weeks/year) to support programs and for other occasional events such as visits to partner schools, site visits, and/or conferences.

Required qualifications & skills:

  • 1 - 3 years of professional experience in student programming, study abroad, and/or education.

  • Ability to effectively organize, manage, and execute multiple projects and tasks in various stages simultaneously.

  • Effective communicator; exceptional interpersonal, analytical, written, and oral communication skills.

  • Can confidently make cold phone calls to connect with potential vendors.

  • Ability and the flexibility to respond quickly and appropriately to changing circumstances.

  • Confident working remotely in a fast-paced, international environment.

  • Aptitude to thrive without daily supervision and work successfully in a remote environment.

  • Impeccable integrity, with an ability to act with discretion in handling sensitive information.

  • Comfortable working with technology and functional knowledge of Google Suite (especially GoogleSheets/Excel), website content management, etc.

  • Willingness to travel domestically to support programs and for other occasional events such as visits to partner schools and conferences.

  • Ability to work some evenings and weekends as required for specific events and programs.

  • Passion for study abroad and travel; experience living, studying, or working abroad is a bonus.

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in international education, international affairs, international development, educational programming, or a related field; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Location

This is a full-time, remote role based in the continental United States.

Annual Salary:

$48,000-$53,000 (commensurate with experience) + annual bonus structure
