This B2B-focused role involves close collaboration with institutional staff (i.e. study abroad office staff, faculty, administrators), and occasional engagement with students. We're looking for someone with a talent for managing relationships, a people-oriented mindset, and a process-driven approach to capturing key developments and opportunities in our CRM. Above all, we're seeking someone who shares our passion for international education and the belief that “travel changes people; people change the world.”

  • Act as a liaison between study abroad staff, key faculty, administrators, and the EdOdyssey team regarding custom and semester study abroad programs.

  • Identify and recruit faculty leaders and semester study abroad students.

  • Guide prospective partners through EdOdyssey’s proposal process, presenting proposals and overcoming objections to ensure acceptance.

Sales and Outreach:

  • Identify and develop new partnership opportunities with both universities and secondary schools.

  • Strengthen relationships with existing partners to increase student enrollment.

  • Respond promptly to inbound inquiries and collaborate with internal teams to align partnership goals with organizational objectives.

  • Proactively develop tailored marketing strategies to promote EdOdyssey programs within your region.

  • Travel as needed (up to 3-4 weeks per year) for conferences, campus visits, and strategic relationship building.

  • Proactively develop tailored marketing strategies (especially email) to promote EdOdyssey programs within your region

Strategic Engagement:

  • Engage with professional organizations (e.g. Forum on Education Abroad, NAFSA) and conferences to build relationships and represent EdOdyssey.

  • 3+ years of experience in student travel, study abroad, and/or international education.

  • Strong understanding of secondary and higher education landscapes.

  • Passion for study abroad and travel; experience living, studying, or working abroad is preferred.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Skilled at managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication skills: interpersonal, analytical, written, and oral.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to adapt quickly.

  • Proficient with Google Workspace, Zoom, CRM systems, and email platforms.
