This August, EdOdyssey is proud to be celebrating 9 years in international education and study abroad! Our journey to today has been made extraordinary by the contributions of the EdOdyssey team, our amazing institutional school and university partners, and every student who has traveled with us. Your support has brought us to this remarkable milestone, and we're deeply grateful.
Looking back, just a few of the countless highlights over the last 9 years include:
Growing an incredible team of study abroad experts and dedicated international education professionals. Today, the EdOdyssey team is based coast-to-coast in the United States and around the world on 4 continents!
Expanding our program destinations from 3 to 10 countries, including our three newest destinations: Japan, Ireland, and the United Kingdom.
Running dozens of successful programs around the world and working with more than 3,000 students!
Being named #1 “Best High School Study Abroad” provider by GoOverseas in 2021
Being ranked by Boston Business Journal as one of Massachusetts’ largest LGBT-owned businesses.
Maintaining over a 95%+ retention rate with our dedicated educational partners, including middle schools, high schools, colleges and universities.
Through it all, we've gained invaluable insights into providing top-notch educational travel experiences and always remained deeply committed to our mission. As we keep evolving and growing, our commitment remains strong — to offer unique, authentic, and immersive learning opportunities across the globe. Reflecting on the past 9 years Founder/President, Peter McGovern said “It’s pretty surreal to reflect on how far we've come as a company. While a lot has changed since our beginning in 2014, I’m proud that through our growth and evolution we’ve never lost sight of the original mission and vision to create a more connected and compassionate world through authentic educational programs for students.”
